Keybinding woes
I'm having two issus with keybinding. Every time I quit to the main menu my contols reset. I don't even have to exit the game, just go to the main menu and start a new game.

Secondly, some of the specials have hardcoded keys. Most, like the demon goat, obey the Special keybinding. The jetpack is always on R, and the goat spindash always uses R and W.

Same- no way to save keybindings? Anytime the game "loads" anything after bindings are set, they reset to defaults. Why do they hate left-handers????

OK found a fix; start game -> Bind keys -> EXIT game (close to DT).
Restart, keybinds saved!

Binding the keys and exiting did not work for me. Some of they keys won't even change this session, I tried binding the special key to my thumb mouse button, and it stayed on R even though it says it isn't.

Just edit the config file directly and make it read-only.

\SteamApps\common\GoatSimulator\Engine\Config\BaseInput.ini
