Bike and Skateboard Tricks?

I'm really enjoying the new update, and I really like riding the bike, but why cant we do tricks? I really want to do spins and flips, but neither of the vehicles do anything when holding the trick modifier button. Ramps don't seem to work consistently, but I've gotten really good at riding around on the bike and jumping over various gaps. I loved doing tricks with the standard goat.

Not being able to control the bike in the air at all also means that ramps force the bike to land at an angle and ragdoll, and this can also happen on long falls where the bike slowly starts to flip on its own.
