How do you start up a local co-op game?

Does anyone how to join a local co-op game in goat simulator? Or probably set up a game where somebody can join my game?

Local co-op means they would have to come over to your house to play. Where do you live? :)

i understand having to play on one machine. do i need to have another keyboard/mouse? an Xbox360 USB controllers for PC? There is only 2 people in my house wanting to play. Please can someone seriously explain this in detail as we have looked all over the net for answers on this and there is none. I have seen many posts about this and Nobody gives detailed anwer's except come to my house and play or go thru "CUSTOM GAME" great i go thru custom game and IT only shows the 1 keyboard icon and 3 PRESS START/ENTER. Really wish Goat Simulator folks would give u information on how to setup this NEW LOCAL MULTIPLAYER feature. Thank you for anyone who can give detail information on this instead of sarcasim because a person is not as smart as that sarcasim person is *Smile* thanks community

You need a mouse and keyboard and you need a controller (Xbox360 controller works best). Go into "CUSTOM GAME". Select the map you want from the "SELECT A MAP TO PLAY" section. The keyboard icon at the bottom on the screen should be green. Press the 'Start' button on the Xbox360 controller. The first controller icon will turn red. Click the "Play" button. You now have splitscreen.

I do not own a xbox controller so I kinda need to know how to do this with an extra set of keyboard and mouse... any help?

You can't play with 2 keyboards. You need a controller.

If you look in custom game where it shows all the extra controller slots, it says "Press Start/Enter" so what would be the point of them saying that if it wasn't going to work anyway?

Okay, I understand I need another controller connected to my PC to play splitscreen. But do any one of you know what I need to set up a xbox controller to my PC? Also what kind of software do I need to download as well?

If you have a wired Xbox360 controller, just plug it into the USB port and your PC will automatically install the drivers for it. If you have a wireless Xbox360 controller, you will need a wireless receiver, like this one:
