Can you play GoatZ pre-outbreak without infecting anyone?

And by that I mean, maybe if I select a specific goat beforehand so it's impossible to spread the infection?

I bought the DLC for my little brother, but he's only 5 and will be easily scared. He will surely have fun on the new map though.

If you're using a gamepad, the button to infect people by default is square (for PS3/PS4 gamepad) or X (for Xbox 360/ Xbox One), so as long as he doesn't press that around any humans or other goats, no one will get infected. You can change the button to be something else in the Key Rebinds part of the options menu.

If using mouse/keyboard just reset the infect button to another button on the keyboard that he won't easily press.

There's a lot of missions and activities to do in the Pre-Outbreak level, so you don't necessarily need to infect anyone to enjoy that level.

Just started playing this game for the first time today, and it was a blast. Will definitely be playing this for a while since there's so much to do and explore.

There's also an invincibility 'mutator' that you can select before starting the level (Casual goat), so even if you get attacked by zombies you won't get hurt or die of starvation during the post-outbreak, so it should be less scary.

Edit: By the way, Post-Outbreak level is very bloody and gory and violent, so maybe he shouldn't play that level anyway lol. ^^;

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I won't be there for the whole time to supervise the process, and he already learned how to change levels and characters. Unbinding the button on the dpad would ruin the experience of other characters.
