Mod to make the space ship controls easier
i know that many people hate the control of the space ship, but if anyone knows a way to make it easier (ex: mods, tips, etc)

Get used to them. I can already destroy space pirates easily and fly the spaceship to the carrier.

Personally I just don't really fly it. To go between the base, t-xas, and the carrier, unlock the teleporters.

For the missions/achievements to shoot pirates/police/etc, I just fly in a straight line until I can see the targets' boxes, stop moving (speed gauge is on the right; your momentum doesn't carry you far when you go back down to 0 bars), and rotate in place to shoot from a distance (lowering mouse sensitivity really helps; I turned mine all the way down on both my computer and in-game). Or I get close enough for auto-aim to kick in, and again keep still and just adjust rotation.

Basically just never steer and move at the same time; always move in a straight line and have patience
