Can we all agree that this is a dead game?
There is a reason I'm saying this. Most mods don't work anymore as they are out updated, New mods rarely come out now, and No New Updates for quite sometime. Since this game has not been updated for a whle and a bunch of mods won't work you will mainly just be playing on the two maps that come with the game wich can get boring after a while. Unless there were more mods maps nad mods that work then I would say to buy it if you don't have the game yet but maybe don't but it right now unless its on sale?.

The game's fun to mess around with once in a while but i have to agree that it's pretty much dead at this point.

because the game is done
not every game gets weekly updates
like CSGO

Are we really sure it is officialy done? The Developers never said it was done yet.

I don't know, I have 248 hours as of now, but now the fun's fading away. :/ most of the maps are outdated. And I don't know how to make my own map. I mean, what I would like is a Titanic map.

Dang 248 hours! I only have 10 Hours Well you can use the map creator for the game but it might be hard and may take a long time if you are trying to make a Titanic map.

Goat sim will live forever in a true fan ! I BELIEVE WE CAN RAISE IT FROM THE DEAD AND MAKE GOAT SIM GREAT AGAIN all hope is not lost ! we need the community to come together and start doin ♥♥♥♥ themselves its hard but keep providing some mods here and there it will live.......... HOPEFULLY

game is still being sold
not everyone played all DLC yet
Its still a fun game to mess around
The speedrun community is still active
This is a singleplayer game it cannot be dead since there are no servers and multiplayer is not required
its a fun game you can play in local-coop and there are not enough local-coop games on steam

It's pretty close to dead. The mobile version got some kind of weird high school themed map that I can't find out anything more about, other than it being only on mobile. It'd be nice if we could at least have that.

either this game is dropped or the devs are working on some huge update with a huge amount of bug fixes
