Why didn't you just wait to release this in a quality state; how did you play this in its state for 1.0 releases and say to yourselves this is a product I want in the world with my name on it.

you should allow placement of certain or all buildings/decorations side-by-side. i personally would like to put the vending machines and some decorations against a wall. instead of being 2-3 tiles away.

Yes! This is something I personally want to update as well. I am not sure if we will manage to do it in this 2.0 patch since there is just too many things already and we had to draw the line somewhere, but if not in this patch, it will be done in the 2.1 patch right after that. Along with a bunch more props that would benefit from that.

I wouldn't mind it if you rolled back the years so it starts at the 1930's with Silent movies since without those types of movies that garnered interest in the field we wouldn't of had talkies 10-20 years later (that and it would be a good tutorial stage to get the basic placement of building stuff down since there wouldn't be much available to research like a basic set that only had a paper set background)

Do we know approximately when the update will be released? Can we then transfer the names to the character settings? Thank you for the good work

Love the character costumes overhaul , are we getting naked actors for the hot love scene , , you know like its done in films when you see a nude actor but like Austin powers props can be place to hide things if its PG rating, or we could do a full 18+ film where you would have any combination of the two Actors make love, oh and i love you have re-done the create a film so you can place actors where they need to be not just in a set place , ie like the haunted house as you have great 3d set that have some great locations in them be nice if we can place the actors where we want them to be :) over all apart from the nude request for 18+ type of film , as in character creator you can strip the characters down to ken and barbie so why not have the body parts, etc , even if it was a paid DLC i would pay for it call it After Dark Adult DLC , i bet many people would buy it , to make more gritty 18+ films :)
but keep up the good work devs lets get this as the No1 Film game , and if you go beyond what old users use to love about Lion gates The Movies & The Movies Stunt and FX pack then you will surely have a winner on your hand, (Oh BTW DID you fix the graveyard bug where the character was glitching in that set ???? )

This has been the most requested content addition by the community and we hear that. We'll announce that later, but after this upcoming release, we'll be working on both the earlier period, 30s-70s with focus on early filmmaking themes and then the modern/future period with stuff like streaming etc.

In a few weeks. The characters will most likely be compatible.

I don't have any idea about that there will be new sets like green-screen and blue-screen sets, new sci-fi bridge and new sci-fi corridor, will there be new scenes, new facilities such as Custom Script Writing Office and Advanced Movie Maker facility that allow us to create our own movies rather than pre-made scripts written in the script office in full release? will the game allow us to change the pre-made scenes according to our dreams or will we not to change them while the scene is being shot, that is, will the game allow us to intervene to change the scenes as they will be shot on sets?

There is more of content in this update, but also the movie making is indeed now connected to the tycoon gameplay. Starting from level 2 of script writers office you will have the option to setup theme/genre and then make/edit the movie in the editor however you like it. Then you get to shoot it in your studio.

I still demand, a button to delete all the previous movies that have been done in a same game, in order to remove them from the visor and from the computer data. It would be nice when you have many games all the movies made are stored there, it is a chaos.
