Production priority setup
Its likely just me, but i feel the success of the movie hinges way too much on what feels like complete RNG without proper explanation or UI. I think i understand what its supposed to do, but for something that can cut the score of your movie by more than half its way too moody.

One day shooting drama, so i put emphasis on Dialogues and Tension, only to get bitchslapped that it should have been mostly Humour and Excitement. So i try to make another movie, only change from Monster to Heist and suddenly the movie should have been 95% Tempo. The f* am i even shooting, Fast and Furious Abridged?!

You have no way knowing what you will need, it affects way too much the final score and there is always at least one parameter that is through the roof and unreachable. Kinda like random "f* you" from RNG.

The sliders don't seem to make the most amount of sense. As I have seen basically one of the sliders should be maxed out with another being near bottom normally about 15 percent and the others should be between 30-55 percent. However, it doesn't make any sense for what really makes a movie good outside of the scoring system will say you had a good movie doing it by the numbers. Real life movies obviously do better at different points and most Sci-Fi films shouldn't have a 30 to 50 for comedy.

I agree and it doesn't get any easier with the highest level production building, I think level 3, where you can shoot 3 movies at a time. On those, the pre-production screens show exactly where to place the sliders and some do not make sense, like high comedy levels for a drama or sci-fi monster movie. Also, even if you have them all set at the suggested levels and are shooting a large movie, when the filming is done on quite a few occasions, your film team did not get the number anywhere close to the suggested levels. So, the rating ends up lower even though you can make a lot of money off of these films.
