Developer of Tinkerlands and Terraria the same? Or are they friends? Collaboration? Other questions
There's just way too many similarities between the 2 games. The music, way monsters die, accessory slots and combinations, and weapon animations. Boss animations are pretty similar as well. Terraria's bosses had an overlay animation. They passed through blocks that the player/monsters had to go around. Seems to be a 'nod' to Zelda a Link to the Past with bosses blowing up, which is nice.
It's a great game!
When the game releases/future updates, will saves on the demo be valid? Or be able to be put into the main game's folder to be used? After completing the demo, I started hoarding resources, building a fast travel minecart track to/through every biome, and built multiple 'bases' throughout the map for co-op. Assuming players join a game to do co-op. A good dopamine flush is great for every gamer, but if the extra effort goes into the trash due to a full release then it's for nothing.

I wasn't thinking terraria at all playing, since it doesn't have digging at all and it's overhead view. I was wondering if this is a sequel to Tinkertown (or a spinoff maybe), if a sequel/spinoff that's great, bc Tinkertown is fun and this demo seems fun. I was wondering at first if this was actually a new intro/demo to Tinkertown, but it seems like it'll be something new.

Yeah, everything about this screams "top down Terraria", and not in a good way.

The answer to your 2nd question: "Progress from the prologue will not be carried over to the full game. This is a design decision, as the prologue is a different instance of the game and has a different progression path." - heard from another person on discord who found it on their FAQ on Steam.
Holding alt key favourites items. It is terraria. Holding crtl is terraria like.

While it is similar to Terraria I have to say It looks much more like Necesse, to the point where it almost seems like a clone.

Game looks interesting tho.

I was more thinking of something between Necesse and Core Keeper. Terraria didn't come into mind.

Terrarria prolly comes to mind when that's the deepest you've gone in the 2d sandbox genre, haha.
