We have to wait and see for the OST.
That's a shame. I am sure someone will release those files publicly at some point (or someone mods it in themselves) if there is enough people capable of it. Hope it doesn't end up how Illusion games modding has become (where every mod/repack is behind a paywall or shady site)
They also took the time to replace those costumes with their designs I noticed, too. Cyber Suit is supposed to be Shrio, which Cyber looks much better. Good call on their part. Manya Chifusa seems to be the Ninja outfit we were given in the remaster and it does the same thing by the looks of it in the long run. So who cares about that. There's a few others I noticed that I'm not sure what is meant to be a replacement for, but I love the Clown outfit they added to the remaster.
The only things I hope they add at some point are the outfits you could've earned only with a digital code found inside physical copies back then, and proper PC options would be nice, too. I understand the game never had a PC port until now, so I'm willing to patiently wait for that update to happen. (:
EDIT:
Just looking at the store in the original, too. Yeah, they decreased the cost of a lot of stuff. The Sexy Seashell outfit used to cost 90 Silver Medals.... The Japanese Maid costed 85 Silver Medals instead of the 30 in the remaster, too. That's why I felt everything so much easier to earn in the remaster. You had to farm your ass off to earn everything in the original game...
I see! That is exciting news for sure; I am glad they didn't just take things away. As for the grind, personally I think a little bit of grind is healthy for replay value, but I never played the original so I am unsure how unforgiving it is ;if it was like war thunder/wows levels then thank god its easier. I also don't really care too much about every outfit, I am sure I am gonna really like one and use it for my whole play-through anyway.
Sounds like some good quality of life changes made it in too which is really nice! The only thing really stopping me from playing it just yet is I do really wish to experience the original sound tracks especially as an audiophile (I think I am using that word correctly...) Regardless ost is a big thing for me even if it isn't great, but I think experiencing scenes as the devs/writers/artists imagined it (outside of the limitations of their time) does matter a little bit to me... but then again maybe I am being too picky over a game that's a decade old.
The most insanely greedy and borderline evil example I've seen of one of these mod creators is one that has a catalogue of their mods for different games, and you can pay them like $40 or $50 for any 3 of their mods each month that you choose, new or old. You have to pay them an insane amount of money for only a small select quantity of their damn mod catalogue, and they make slightly more than the amount you can choose from in a month to encourage people to double dip and spend twice as much. Paywalled mods are an unbelievable scourge.
Anyways, back onto the topic of the the discussion, hopefully we get the removed costumes and music soon. I'm holding off on buying the game until then.
Yeah, the remaster is made to be waaaaaaay more forgiving 'cause it gives a lot of features to help players get through QTEs and everything now. Unlike before.... everything on you and you had to get good with the older game to get anywhere. Anybody could pick up this remaster and should be able to finish the game with ease now I find.
"You Spin Me Round" is never gonna end up in the remaster. They literally just used the whatever the song was and yeah, they can't do that no more. Don't think they had to the right back then to use, but who knows. A lot of these are still in the game, but some are changed for the better. Opening menu theme is better in the remaster compared to the original. I do miss the old Super theme, but meh... that doesn't change much either. These are the songs that were licensed:
Licensed Music
Lollipop – The Chordettes
Pac Man Fever – Buckner & Garcia
Rock ‘N’ Roll (Will Take You To The Mountain) – Skrillex
The Way of the Fist – Five Finger Death Punch
Stop Reading, Start Doing Pushups - Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows
Riot Rhythm – Sleigh Bells
Turtle Crazy – Toy Dolls
1,000 Cigarettes – MSTRKRFT
Heroes Of Our Time – Dragonforce
Nemesis – Arch Enemy
Needled 24/7 – Children of Bodom
Mickey – Toni Basil
You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) – Dead or Alive
Empire State Human – The Human League
Cherry Bomb - Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Speed - Atari Teenage Riot
Hey Mickey - Toni Basil
I'm just happy Lollipop by the Chordettes wasn't cut of all things 'cause that song makes the menu and the whole game. The rest don't mean anything... Trust me.

Does the original even have easy difficulty mode, out of curiosity?
Yes, but isn't counted on the leader board.
Umm... Didn't know I asked for your unwanted opinion about a comment that's strictly for a person asking a question about the game. That's interesting..
