How to choose Japanese voice？

Sadly the Japanese dub can be selected only if Japanese is also selected for the text. All the other languages can only play with the English dub and don't have dual audio support.
I really wish the Japanese dub will be made available for all supported languages soon.

So you need to have Japanese text selected to then choose the Japanese voices?

Okay, that’s pretty dumb. You should be free to pick whatever voice with whatever language text you want

It’s not a deal breaker for me but subtitle dependent players are getting screwed over for sure

I believe the reason for this is because the Japanese dialogue is completely different from the English dialogue

So the English subtitles taken from the English dub simply wouldn’t match the Japanese voices, plus there is 3 different Japanese voices so the dialogue may differ somewhat between the actresses

Clearly it was too much effort for them to provide proper translated text of the Japanese voices. They could have assumed nobody outside of Japan would select them or it was just an exercise in cutting costs

Well, the English dub can be selected with Japanese text and the subtitles don't match but that didn't stop them from making English available for Japanese users. This is also how it worked in the original.

No JP audio with English text makes this an easy skip for me. Though to be fair even if it did have it this looks like a wait for a sale game.

Knowing Japanese voice acting agencies, it's likely a stipulation in the licensing that the voices of their talents only be available if the text is also in Japanese. Yes, talent agencies are this anal.

It's so dumb on how the same restrictions of the original release from the PS3/360 also applies in RePOP.

They should just make it selectable since the JPN version allows you to switch between English and JPN voices (Only subs/menu are in Japanese only).

Also they did release another two Sexy rider recolor costume (Blue or Red as oppose to Pink) that's exclusive to some stores, just like the original release (US we had exclusive Jimmy Urine/Goth/Ash Evil Dead/Funk from various stores like Gamestop/Bestbuy etc).

This is so stupid, I really hope modders will be able to bring these features in as well as the original OST (Anyone having problem with the BGM sounding too low?) and the Anime collab costumes (Highschool of the Dead/Manyuu/Deadman Wonderland/Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? etc)

Japanese PS3 versions have the same language restrictions if you want to play with an English interface.
