...for the 'modern audience'? [which does not exist btw, say hi to Concord for me]. That is the million dollar question. I want to buy this but my purchase decision will be based almost but not quite entirely on if itll be censored or not. A game like this, itll probably be miraculous if it escapes the modern censorship paradigm unscathed. Though im not even sure what would be left of lollipop chainsaw if they were to file the edge off it and make it dull.

I read an article that said the new version has less gore. Instead of gore, it has a pop-art damage effect. So that's what's censored/changed.

I honestly don't understand the reasoning for doing that.. Hopefully a mod can do something about it. I'll wait to get it until then.

You will be able to choose between the "RePop" Mode that has the "pop art" effects and a few changes regarding gameplay, accessability and stuff like that or the "Original" Mode that leaves all that in it's original state (just with the better graphics). The dev says there's no censorship.
There are licensed songs in the OG that didn't make it into the Remaster because of license reasons - if that is a huge factor for you.

Can you at least do the minimum of research before spreading false info? Yes the new mode will have the gore toned down, but there is also ORIGINAL MODE available, that is fully uncensored like the PS3 game, with all the remaster enhancements still included. This is literally front page info.

I take the pop art-y stuff as a stylistic choice and not censorship. Like it fits and there's still plenty of blood, it's just sparkle hunting is... Well... Sparkle-ier.
