I was just about to ask why this game isn't in the "Steam Scream" sale... I guess they just don't want to discount it (full price) same as SH2 Remake (even though the Steam Scream Banner is over the game's Store Page)

Edit: if a game isn't on sale for a specific sale event. don't add the sale event banner on the game's store page.

he has no idea what he's talking about the game launched on sale like with many others in 2024 palworld black myth wukong and alot others publishers decide when their games go on sale steam has nothing to do with choosing what games go on sale or not they just sell the games but obviously they'll recommend to publishers if they should put their game on sale or they just send out invites to the publishers when a sale comes around

I think steam does have some rules about that.

steam launch discount rules: Launch discounts
A launch discount can be up to 14 days long. A game cannot be discounted within 30 days of its release, or within 30 days of the end of its launch discount If your game launched 30 days prior and had a launch discount, then that discount cooldown DOES prevent you from joining the seasonal sale at the beginning. You can choose to join the sale already in progress by entering your discount for the seasonal sale once the launch discount cooldown ends (30 days from the end date of your launch discount). There are always future opportunities to put your game on discount, so you shouldn't feel pressured to change your release date for the sake of a seasonal sale event.

Well... I paid full price to support this type of game.
I think it's a more than decent remaster and one that the developers have put a lot of effort into.
but it's funny how some people are very hard with this game.
but Rockstar releases a terribly optimized port, with no improvements and a price of 50$ without any regional price but people have turned it into a top seller.

but if you want more remasters of classic games, uncensored and without DRM you know what to do.

No, that's not it. I'm from a region where the price was adjusted but I couldn't take advantage of the launch offer. On one of their Twitter posts they had said that after the price adjustment they were going to do something so that we also have that 10% discount. That's why I thought they were going to use the Halloween sales, since it only lasts 1 week, including maybe a weekend offer from the publisher that lasts much less.
Anyway, in a few hours Shadows of the Damned comes out, also by Suda 51, I'm going to see if I have enough money for both. But I really would have liked to save that 10%, maybe for others it won't be much, but for me it is, because I can buy other "cheap" games in my region.
