Modding The sandbox Guide

wouldnt let me post it in the guides, so here it is.

What? You cant MOD THE SANDBOX!?!!??!!? Well to some degree yes!
Let me put this here first. There is no way to edit the curency in this game, or get any packs for free. this guide will only tell you how to edit the games elements. stuff like humans, and plants.

you will need
-Image editing program (Really anything that can edit images while leaving the transparent parts transparent)
-Notepad ++ (Lets you edit game code, is needed to edit element propities)
-Audacity (lets you change music and or sounds)

{limitations}
-I couldnt find any thumbnail files.
-I havent found a way to add in custom elements (sadly)


1. Find the game
This can be done by right clicking the games title on steam, and going to properties, and After that you go into "local files"
and click "browse local files"
2. Find what you wanna mod
If you wanna edit the self building buildings go to "farm", "buildings", "invaders", "humanbuildings","cars", "boats", "decorations"
If you wanna edit the humans or game imps and ninjas go to "humans", "arcade"
If you wanna edit the music or sounds go to "music" "sounds"
If you wanna edit animals or plants go to "crops" "animals" "alien" "dinosaurs" "ecology" "trees"
If you wanna edit backgrounds go to "backgrounds"
3.editing
If its a mp3 you are editing use audacity to record sounds
If its an image use the image editor to change it to your liking. try to keep the 0,1,2,3,4 ect. images in order.
If its a "specs" file edit it with notepad ++
