FYI: Metamod:Source and SourceMod requirements

For any server owners looking to run SourceMod (SM) on their Fistful-of-Frags (FoF) dedicated servers, here is some information about what versions are required.

• Metamod:Source: Version 1.10.0 - development snapshot![www.sourcemm.net].
  
• SourceMod: 1.6.0 - development snapshot![www.sourcemod.net].

As an example, below is what I am running on my (Linux-based) dedicated servers ...

Output from "meta version" command in the game-server console:

meta version
Metamod:Source version 1.11.0-dev

Shouldnt it be MM 1.11 and not 1.10 as you say in the top ?

This is what I am actually running on my server at the moment:

Metamod:Source version 1.11.0-dev

Maybe 1.11.1 is the newest dev build currently - but perhaps not when I built mine.

Obviously, the version information above (starting the thread) about which MM:S and SM to run is out of date. At this point, just run the latest "stable" branches and you should be fine:

• Metamod:Source = http://www.sourcemm.net/snapshots (currently 1.10.4 git 923)
  
• SourceMod = http://www.sourcemod.net/snapshots.php (currently 1.6.3 git 4588)

PS: Obviously, as both SourceMod and Fistful of Frags continue to evolve, just keep in mind to grab the lastest "stable" snapshots if you run into problems trying any previous verions.
