"There are no internet games listed on the master server that pass your filter settings." Error

So after not playing for a couple of months I decided it's probably time to get some of the rust off. However when I booted up the game I quickly found there were no servers what so ever and a message saying, "There are no internet games listed on the master server that pass your filter settings."

I didn't have any filters and haven't changed the game or my computer in anyway as far as I know. So have I missed something? This is a very enjoyable game and it would be shame if I wasn't able to play it. If anyone has a fix of some kind I would greatly appreciate it if they would share it with me.

(PS I haven't unistalled then reinstalled my game yet, I'll wait to see if there is another fix to do that.)

Close FOF... go into Steam
Click on View ...Servers
Change your filters in Steam: (not the game)
FOF, Secure, no password, users playing on it.... latency: to all
click refresh all
refresh history and fav... even if there emty
close steam
reopen steam
launch game from Library... if that doesent work...
look for file called ClientRegistry.blob in your steam folder
if it exist delete it... ( steam doent use it anymore )
if all above fails.. back up game files and uninstall and reinstall steam and FOF
