Desktop Icon Picture Missing

A while ago I lost most of the game logo pictures attached to my desktop icons for my steam games. I got the majority back by selecting "properties" and changing the icon to the one stored in the game files. The picture .exe files are usually in a clear place having navigated to program files(x86)/stea/steamappscommon/(your gaame name). Yet I cant find that anywhere for FOF. would anyone know where the .exe file, or other needed file, would be in the game folder to set to the desktop link?
p.s. setting a new desktop icon/link from steam library does not fix the problem
