Game Mode: Cowboys vs Indians

I thought about a couple game type that would be really cool, so here they are:

Cowboy vs Indian
In this game mode, there would be 2 teams, Cowboys and Indians. There would be 3-4 cowboys, and 10-12 Indians.


Classes
Cowboys would only consist of 3-4 players, or 1/4, 2/5 of the players. They spawn in a fort or barricade, where they would have a line of sight over a relatively open area. Maybe the map could look awesome, like with turned over chariot, wood planks etc...

Indians would consist of 10-12 players, or 3/4, 3/5 of the players. They spawn in the open area, and would be un-hittable for 1 or 2 seconds. They would be able to run at a much greater speed (40-50% faster maybe). They would have a much faster spawn time then Cowboy


Weapons
Cowboys would only be able to wield a one shot rifle (the Smith Carbine would do) and a relatively inaccurate and weak 6 shot revolver(30 damage up close maximum) that take a while to reload, and no melee

Indians would be wielding a bow (of course) and tomahawks (such as the hatchet), that they could both throw and hit with.


Objective
Cowboys would have to protect the reserve of whiskey, of course, which would be placed behind the barricade, inaccessible to Indians until they cross the barricade or entered the fort

Indians would have to steal the whiskey from the Cowboys. They would need to break the door that blocks access to the fort or jump barricade before accessing the booze, under a rain of bullets of blood.

Once the Indians have manage to break through the defenses, they drink all the whiskey, get that really drunk visual while bowing and hacheting cowboys who, after having lost, loose their gun until the round restart. That's just for fun though :p

Maps
I don't think maps should be crazily complex. In the case the assault is on a fort ( http://i.imgur.com/evgGBIZ.png ), multiple ladders should be accessible by the Indians. If the assault is done on a barricade ( http://i.imgur.com/4t4tygD.png ), Indians should be able to simply jump over them. It might seem to you that barricade would be much easier to attack as Indian and much harder to defend as Cowboys, but the fact that the barricade is low enough for them to jump over means that the shots would be much easier to take for Cowboys, and balance the dynamics between the attacker and the defender. In the case of a fort, the distance and height between the two opponents makes it somewhat hard for Cowboys.
See the maps below, C stands for Cowboy and I for Indian (quite the art pieces, yes, I know)

Gameplay
I imagine cowboys having to work together, to prevent hurls of Indians knocking down the doors and destroying the oh so precious whiskey. Firepower would be limited (because of the single shot rifle), and so would require team effort.

I imagine Indians rushing in towards the gate, trying to get to the ladder, others trying to knock down the door, all while using the bow.

I think that once Indians are able to breach through, although the fight will continue, Indians will be able to swiftly deal with Cowboys, as they have numbers and melee. It is in the Indians best interest to close in as quickly as possible, in order for them to make use of their melee ability, while it would be best for the cowboys to try to keep the Indians at bay.




Of course, im not a game dev, so I lack the sense of balance in this game, but I reckon, if tweaked correctly (respawn time, positions, weapons, speed, maps etc...), could be really fun

I can already picture being the cowboy, aiming at running crazed indians with feathers and hachets, making every single shot count, and see them fall in front of your smoking barrel. Or being an Indian, and charging alongsides others, while seeing some falling under the rain of lead and making it to the gate :p Sounds like fun

This would be awesome! I can just imagine the Indians storming the fort and hearing cries of "NO, MY WHISKEY!"
