This explains why there's a paid version.
It's a pinned thread on the forums, it's hard to miss. There are, in fact, differences.
TL;DR
Mostly more content, offline play, upgraded audio and visuals, ect
In addition we help the developer and we have a continuation of the game.
I can solidly say that I want more of this, and I plan to continue supporting the developer.
this developer is not the kind that dosent deserve money for his product. yes, the game can be 100%'d in 5-8 hours, but its a fun and well made game by a developer who truly cares about his product. when EBF5 comes out in 15 years, ill buy it day 1.hell, ill preorder it.
5-8 hours? Maybe on the first playthrough without battle mountain.
He can do what he wants with his game. Money or not he makes the game for free for kongregate. Steam is just here for a support with additionial content.
