I also like the EBF 3 crew more so my anna is kinda weak
and theres that thing
I dont know which char is best replaced with anna
I think from looking at her default skill tree she's supposed to be a counterpart to Lance. She seems to learn both physical and special.
The poor guy was immediately benched and never got the chance to prove himself...
Being that this game comes right after beating the final boss of EB3, the fact that she could get the jump on Matt and not get wholloped irks me. At least give me a plausible explanation, like she used some kind of poison arrow that sapped his strength. The previous game started off saying that the final boss sapped everyone's levels back to one.
But, I'll give her another shot. Maybe playing this game right after finishing the previous one might not have been the best idea.
That being said I just prefer having my third party member be a Support, as Matt would be the main damage dealer (physical) with Natz as Magic damage dealer/Support and thus Lance (who is more of a jack of all trades in this game) kind of got to warm the bench for the most part.
Well Matt is mostly for Single Target damage, so could definitly see that. That being said, late game I feel like Lance isn't all that useful, his multi target skills has low variety in terms of elemental coverage (Fire, Thunder, Dark and Bomb, which Natz can easily cover with the exception of potentially one turn Hyper Beams with Accelerator Gun). His support skills aren't all that useful when it is mostly shareable except for his single target heal that also heals status effects (on Epic difficulty where your team is likely to take more damage overall than a single target it isn't all that viable, doing multi Heal and either preventing status effects with Bless or heal all status effects is usually better).
I personally mostly used Lance during the Waste Dispostal Plant for his Bomb/Thunder skills (only during the first playthrough as on NG+ nr. 2 and 3 the other members have more than enough coverage) and never after that (and rarely before, maybe for some mob fights weak to Fire/Thunder). Even if Matt mostly only does single target skills, he still dishes out a lot of damage which is more useful vs bosses. That's just me though.
