I got this game in a bundle and loved it so much that I came back to buy it on steam. I went in expecting to enjoy it, as I'm a lover of any marriage between horror, comedy, and sex, but I didn't expect how MUCH I would enjoy it. There's some real character work under the silly premise, the creator really knows what to do with trauma and complex emotions without devaluing how hilarious this game gets. The absurdity makes the darker bits all the more real, and while the sex is DELIGHTFUL, I really keep coming back because of how much I enjoy the characters. Whatever Tate needs, I'm gonna do it.

This is a game with characters who have real problems, and writing that cares about them. It is also a game where the slasher mask stays ON during sex. This is to say that it's perfect, and you should definitely play it.

An awesome, inclusive, love letter to horror movies and the people who love them. The dev is amazing and responsive, with constant updates and a real desire to make this game both fun and accessible. I adore the art style and highly recommend giving this game a try even if like me dating sims aren't your normal fare.

Part RPG part Visual Novel, Slasher U may still be a work-in-progress at this point but its obvious that the dev is putting some Serious Heart into this game. The campus is fun to explore and the characters are funny to talk to, and who can resist laying some love on some messed-up cuties. Beyond the smoochin and the other things two can do ;) there is an interesting story that begins to unravel as you play, a mystery unique to each character that will hook claws into you for Acts 2 and 3. I thought i was ace....now i don't know anything anymore...except the fact that this game is hella awesome B)
10/10 will smash again and again and again and again!

The writing in this is phenomenal. I don't play a lot of (any) dating sims, but I picked this one up based on a friend's suggestion. And as a horror scholar and history geek, and a queer person, this game has a depth of knowledge and thoughtfulness informing its lore that got me hooked within the first fifteen minutes. And it's funny! But with pathos - sometimes in the most unexpected places. I am truly delighted to uncover more of the narrative with each click, and have become very interested in every character's arc and backstory. There's so much worldbuilding, and the mechanics actively encourage exploration and interaction with the NPCs, too!

Jesus, daddy, and the spook, this game is something special!
Every romance I've pursued so far has made me say, out loud, "holy moly I love this dude more than anything."

Which I admit, probably says as much about me as it does about the game.

But as someone who consumes an inordinate (read: shameful) amount of adult-to-adultish video games without having left a comment/review before, I feel like it should really say something for me to give Slasher U crazy props here:

The artwork is amazing.
The storylines are engaging.
The characters are *iconic* (just ask the stans on discord).
The gameplay is casual and forgiving, while still requiring player interaction and thought.
And of course, the dirty bits are loads of fun. LOADS and loads. ;)

If you're into pixel graphics, Lovecraft, slashers, interactive dirty talk, roleplay, CNC, sci-fi jokes, pop-culture references, tons of innuendo, or if you've ever had inappropriate thoughts about being Pyramid Head's mannequin "friend" in Silent Hill 2, I am pretty darn sure you'll appreciate this game.

I absolutly love this game, it has its bugs, yes, but they always listen to the community and gather their info to make a better game. Community very interactive and the story, personality of the characters excellent.
