Importing Music
This is the first time I've had a music creating program. I've played with it a bit, and have a decent idea of what to do. One thing I want to do is see if I can remix music, for example I think Let It Go from Frozen would be cool. I bought it on Itunes only to realize I can't import it. Can anyone help me import music? I've looked everywhere and can't find a thing..

Have a new project started, then toward the bottom-portion, click on the File Browser tab, navigate to where your music/song file is located, you can then double-click on it to import into into your project. Once it's imported, you can then play around with editing it, use the re-mix maker on it, split it up if you want, add in extra sounds / music or effects that you like, change pitch, tempo, etc...

Even if it's from Itunes?

I tried that, went to a random song from Itunes and right clicked, nothing about importing. Also I don't believe I have any songs in an MP3 format, I don't know how to do that.

I don't see why not. Do you have the song saved as an audio file on your computer? What audio file format does iTunes give you?

Depending on the format it was in, you may need to first convert it over into an audio file format that Magix can load in (wav, flac, ogg, etc...)

And you're just re-mixing it for your own personal use, right?

Yeah thats it, I'm new to all this stuff, like converting and all. I'm just interested in seeing how I could mess around with it, not publishing it or anything.

If you don't have the actual audio-file (perhaps you were just streaming it from iTunes), then you could use something like the Audacity utility (a free audio editing utility):
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/

You can set the input device to Stereo Mix (which should capture the sounds being played on your computer), start a recording in Audacity, play the song/music from iTunes, stop recording when it's finished, you can play-back to see how it sounds, then Export the file, then you should be able to import that file into your Magix Music Maker software.

Also, you should be able to record right from within the Magix Music Maker software itself. Just adjust the audio recording settings accordingly, then on one of the tracks, press the record button and then play the music you wanted to capture. Press the stop-button when you finish the capture/recording.

Well, those are just a couple of ideas. Good luck.
