Hopefully the game won't be too demanding. I play almost exclusively in 5W TDP (only a few games, like NMS, require me to bump it up a little higher). Need that battery life. :-)

Seem to be staying closer to 30fps now.
On my deck there appear to be separate startrekgame folders hence me struggling to find the saved configs.
Worked for me too, though looks alot worse (no duh). Im geting 60fps in the Intro, then 29-40 on average
Just started it on Ubuntu using GE-Proton 9.5. No problems here. Just had to first click "Yes" to install some redistributable before the game would start. But that prompt came up on its own, no tinkering involved.
If you also have a desktop (or laptop) rig and fast local wifi you can stream games from your desktop rig (well when you're playing at home) and it looks great (higher graphics settings) and battery life all day long.
When I first got my Deck I tried streaming and it sucked but I recently got a new wifi router and it now runs great. And if you have the new OLED model the deck has faster built in wifi too so that should be all the better. (I have LCD).
I’m so happy that this was posted in here. I play a lot of my games on my steam deck because I enjoy sitting on the couch or my bed while playing games instead of at my computer chair. For all of you out there live long and prosper
