Is it a bug? Forever stuck at level 8 even going through it correctly

Idk if I'm the only one, but apparently I'm stuck at level 8 no matter what, no matter how many tries (both the in game running, and rebooting my game and reaching 8). I never reach the staircase. After going through 7 correctly, it increased to 8. Then still going through 8 'correctly' (I'm sure I did so cuz sometimes there were obvious abnormalities). Running back(or going straight sometimes) and expect a staircase. NOPE still 8 and a new walkway. Done the same over and over again until I lose my patience, running straight blindly and revert to 0 again.

Sometimes the game will continue to give you more hallways even after initially reaching "8". Just continue to look for anomalies and you will reach the stairway 8 eventually.

I made a couple runs and only once I reached the correct stairway right after reaching 8. Most of the times I had to do 2-3 more hallways before successfully getting out. The game is simply trying to trick you when you already feel like you did it.

The game keeps looping through Exit 8 as long as there are anomalies. So it is random but it will eventually end

I've managed to reach the end and the sign told me I still had 3 anomalies left to find. I don't have the experience the last poster had.

I completed it with 16 anomalies left. It just makes you do it a couple more times as a final mix up. As long as it doesn't reset to 0 you discovered the anomaly properly.
