Is this an anomaly? I turned back when I saw the mannikin, but the man was holding a phone so I turned again but the mannikin was still there so I could not go in either direction.
Also are the big yellow signs anomalies when they say different numbers like 1 or 4?

You can just go past the man holding the phone. Big yellow sign is just a counter of your correct attempts in a row.

the man can be to fast, to big, faceless, staring or smiling. No details below the neck change
