I would say Paper Please is a similar game. You also have to find if there is any abnormal info and decide to "proceed" or not.

but if you are looking for more of a 3D puzzle adventure then this game

Not directly the same but if you’re into the ‘weird’ type games you might check out some of the visual novel games from the 2000s, like the infamous ‘Shijuu Hachi’.

Tho it might be hard to get that game without resorting to piracy (and even then it’s probably hard to find these as Roms) and they need an advanced understanding of Japanese to be enjoyable.

This one is the same concept: you have to look for impossible things and weird inconsistencies to figure out whether you can safely kill yourself in order to wake up from an otherwise-permanent, alien-induced nightmare. Midnight monitor aldercourt, project 13 and atta spot the oddities are very very simular and inspired by exit 8. False dream is inspired by it too but instead of a hallway you're in an apartment. Chilla's art is making an exit 8 like game rn too.
