Cast spells?

How do I cast spells (using PC with XBox controller)? I've got Faith over 15 but can't figure out how I cast spells (stuck on the Worshipper so it would be nice to have a decoy).

Pressing "B" changes your active spell (lower right corner of the screen). Holding "B" casts the spell. You got to select spells as "favorite" in your character menu for them to be selectable by toggling through spells with "B".

You can also change your controller to the alternate scheme.
Tapping Y casts your spell, and your d-pad selects spells.
Only problem with alternate controller setting is you can't favourite multiple weapons.

I don't get the option of selecting a spell to make it a favorite. I can upgrade attributes but can't select spells. My selection is from the Solace group...but can't select/favorite any of them. Is there some minimum requirement I need to unlock to use spells?

In your first playthrough you can only buy spells from the spell type you picked at character creation.

edit: Have you converted xp into a spell point and bought a spell yet?

I have 5 spell points but can't do anything with them. I can't select any spells from the menu.

I have the same problem and I feel a little dumb.

So it took me a minute to figure it out as well. Nest to the "0/3" mark on the spell, there is a little orange arrow that only appears when you hover over it. click it then, click the check mark at the bottom of that page
