Best/worst boss fights?
For me the fire/lightning Brothers fight is easily the worst fight in the game, poorly designed, comes out of nowhere, and for no good reason. I think the devs were thinking - smough and orstein - when they designed this fight but it is imo the laziest designed fight bar none. A total filler.

None ofthe fights are particularly memorable, but I think I'd give best fight to the final boss, once I figured out how to beat it. Rage + dual weild.

I have only beaten 3 bosses so far. The Cemetary boss was infuriating with his stuns until I figured out the trick with the alters.

The brothers was the second worst imo, I hated how once you went their you could not leave till you beat them which is a bad design decision. But the worst boss was the guardian. My ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ got the flames were so op. If one barly touched your leg you would be stunned till the other ones finished you off. Not to mention that teleport attack messed up my magic and the combo he does it fairly easy to dodge but if they hit again it stuns you massivily. Yet to face last boss but I heard hes a ♥♥♥♥ too XD

As ive only fought three bosses thus far im probably not the one who should be contributing. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ The Worshipper was horrible. Stuns that punish you if you're in the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ postcode as the guy, and tactical carpet bombing thats unavoidable if you dont figure something completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unintuitive out yourself.

I did him on my first try. They should of made the shrines glow and maybe may the "carpet bomb" not an insta kill but a good chuunk of damage. His stun was easy enough to dogdge and if you attacked him in the back then got stunned he could not attack you till giving you enough time to whale on him or back off. Imo he was one of the easiest boss. I personally found the commander, anhillator, guardian, brothers and probably the final boss (when i fight him) the hardest.

all the bosses were forgetable honestly, the brothers were nothing compared to Ornstein and Smough or DS maneaters *shudder*

They all looked the same except for the spider boss. I think I spent 3 times at most on one boss though, so I didn't have the same experience as say for example the Taurus Demon from DKS 1. You really start to know a boss when you face them for 4 hours in one day. ugh.

They chuck everything at you with that fight. If you don't get rid of the minions I've no idea how many he'll spawn but one time I had to avoid 4 or 5 of them running around after me, while avoiding his stun, avoiding spikes coming out of the ground, and worrying that the whole place was at any moment going to get nuked.

It's a tough fight. Which I'm guessing is because you win access to the other world.

Big bosses are a b*ch to take down because if they move minimally the entire leg shifts and sometimes even if you lock-on with focus you will miss the hitbox.

Tough fight? Just run to the altar when he's about to nuke the place (it's pretty easy to spot) and then kill the mobs while you in there. They can barely damage you in there.

Otherwise the best fight... Huh... Champion I guess? Not so much because the design is that good, but at least I had to try more than once against him. Even Beast went down at the second try.

Worse fight... Champion too? It was taking forever to get the right pattern to stun him.

The Guardian - that guy and his hillarious hitboxes
SundownKid Dec 31, 2014 @ 12:53pm
Best boss - Worshiper, I just liked how they incorporated all those strategic elements and the environment being necessary to beat him.

Worst boss - Judge, because the fire laser is just plain stupid.

I'd say worst is Beast, just because the hitbox of his legs were just awful.

Best would honestly probably be the First Warden. The fight itself is fun, and it happens very suddenly and very early in the game. I also like how the fight starts with you getting knocked on your ass. It really emphasizes how powerful the boss is.

Kinda agree as they had no real back story but they are more intresting to take down rather then a hundred arse pokes in DS....

According to convention you always save the best for last but LOTF clearly saved the best for first. The Warden was my favourite fight as stated above it happened so quickly and he had a presence the other bosses didn't seem to have. It took me many tries to kill him without taking damage to get that legendary sword too. The fight starting with him shield bashing you to the ground was brilliant.

Worst boss is probably the Judge because the fight makes very little sense and his weird mutated design doesn't fit the game.

Just use fire resistance shard and ignore his fire waves.
The shards work wonders against the two brothers too, what i hate is how you cant use these shards from the menu, have to scroll for them during an already hectic fight....but i guess that was a way to make things more difficult.
TamaDasha Jan 1, 2015 @ 6:20pm
Guardian. Just pathetic. I killed him in 52 seconds on my first try, that's just ridiculous.
Worshiper is probably the best, because it was the hardest one for me. And not like "this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid" hard, but "I really need to not screw up" hard.
