How do the Enemy-Spawn work?

So. I was at the Lord in the graveyard. Couldent beat him so I desided to backtrack a bit and se I f I missed anything, And it was a Ghosttown. Places I dident got by before and never killed an enemy at that area was now empty?!?!..

And another empty area then was not empty anymore.

Anyone know how it works? Can you farm ? and so and so :)

well im farming the start when you enter and exit the building..that makes them resopawn i know for sure.

It seems like they respawn when you die, at least based off my brief time playing at a friend's house. Didn't ever try completely leaving an area and coming back.

Once a enemy is dead it stay dead, when exiting a zone and enter it again all respawn. When you die all respawn.

Basically everything respawns when:
-You die
-You leave/enter an area
-You load the game

Only things that don't respawn are bosses and minibosses.

Thank you. I tought when I used a checkpoint they al respawn aswell. maybe al that that made me confused. But thanks :D

Actually they would respawn if you used checkpoint, exit to menu, then load back in, but now for me after last patch monsters aren't respawning that way anymore. The entire area between second boss and third boss (graveyard) about 4 enemies respawn.
