I'm just wondering... Could that effect (drop your max Magic Pool) be intentional ? The name of the trinket is "GREED", after all....
iWriteYourMusic 23 DIC 2014 a las 9:02 a. m.
I honestly doubt it because you can permanently put your magic pool in the negative and the game glitches out when you do that (causing the bar to flicker yellow and the hud messes up)

Just never equip that thing! I figured that one out rite quick, like have had no reason since i got the mule trinket to use anything else anyways. Thus I have decided to excise the curiosity of wtf the greed trinket does from my mind just like politics religion etc its all ♥♥♥♥♥ best ignored for the better zen living ;)

Well I did an experiment (now I know why my mana pool did not completely regen). I went to the only place I knew I could get a 2 or over exp modifier: The portal that opens after the boss in the Graveyard (halfway up a flight of stairs from where you enter the Rhogar world). I kept entering with the trinkent on. Go a multiplier of 2. Fought 2 more times and it was still 2. I started with 0 exp and I wrote down how much total exp I had after each completed fight (3 rounds). Then I took off the trinket (do not know why but after a while my magic did go up again, I equipped Mana Leech). Did 4 more fights from 0 exp and got the exact same numbers.

1) I can definitely say I does not change how fast your multiplier raises.
2) Also, it does not raise you max multiplier.

On a personal note I do wish you coudl "sell" or reuse unwanted armor, runes and trikets into something more usefull (like exp or better runes or something)

I have tested the Greed trinket in depth. The only noticeable difference is when you equip then unequip it, then exit inventory you will see a yellow bar extend from you magic bar. Then look at inventory screen at your magic, your available magic will have increased. So in my case I have 21 faith so mine shows 151/126 magic. As far as I can tell there are no negative effects from having it equipped or unequipped. The only 2 positive effects I have found is the increased magic and that you can equip another trinket and still have the increased magic. To get rid of the increased magic simply reequip the greed trinket, or for a permanent removal die without the greed trinket equipped. In conclusion there is no effect positive or negative when greed trinket is equipped. But equipping then unequipping gives increased magic plus you can equip any other trinket. Hope this helps people. If you reply with questions just be warned I probably won't respond because I don't frequent forums.
I tested the Greed trinket again. To make full use out of the increased magic. When you equip unequip the Greed trinket before you exit your inventory equip any other trinket you want to use and make sure you have everything you want to use on favorites like the gold boss weapons because most use magic also that you won't be needing to open your inventory for awhile. Then exit inventory, let the yellow bar fill up all the way. If you open up the inventory when the yellow bar is filling it will stop at that point. It will not increase anymore and when you use a magic skill it will begone. Same goes for if you let the yellow bar fill up all the way. Then you open the inventory for any reason or at anytime. Then When you use a magic skill the yellow bar will not refill. It's not a big deal if you open the inventory. All you have to do is just equip unequip the Greed trinket then any other trinket before you exit your inventory.

I know (I think at least) so you get a more xp and better loot but it halves your damage and lowers mana after equipping it you get your damage back but still lose the mana

If you're like me and had some problems regarding all the "press X and click Y", here's a little guide on how to do it on pc (with a keyboard).

Open your inventory and find your trinket, equip it, click V to change view, unequip it, click V to change view, equip it, cancel. Remeber that you still have your trinket equiped, but you should still regenerate magic to the same point, or beyond of what you previously had. Now all you have to do is unequip it again to regenerate even more magic and fill out the bar.

You may have to do this several times to fill the bar completely, but in the end you should have all your magic back.

Fixed for me: POSSIBLE SPOILERS

I had the mana glitch where my mana stopped regenerating at 80% even without the trinket equipped and it lead me here. This is how I solved it.

Requires trinket Faithful Disciple, you can google where to find it.

Go to inventory and equip greed, then unequip it, then equip it once more and leave it on. Leave inventory and let your mana fill until it stops. Go back to inventory and remove trinket Greed and equip trinket Faithful Disciple. When you leave inventory your characters mana should fill back to maximum amount.

You can continue to use the trinket Greed and Faithful Disciple to boost your mana. This boost will last and regenerate until you die. If you open your inventory at any point during the yellow boosted manas regeneration it will stay at that point.

Ok guys, I FIGURED OUT HOW TO FIX THIS. It doesn't make any sense, so bear with me. The problem is the Greed trinket. When you put it on, it seems to decrease your MP pool by about 20. However, equipping/unequipping it multiple times bugs the game and drops your max pool down to 0 (or even into the negatives).

The way to fix this is to go into your inventory, press A (xbox controller, X on PS3 controller) to equip it, press Y (on xbox controller, triangle on PS3 controller), then unequip it, then press Y again, then equip it again, then exit the menu screen. When you exit and go back to your game, your mana will begin to fill up by about 18-20 MP. Once that's filled, you can unequip the Greed trinket, exit the menu, and your MP will regen an additional 18-20 MP. Repeat this process until you've regenerated back to max and NEVER ♥♥♥♥ING EQUIP THAT PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥ BUGGED TRINKET AGAIN

God amongst men. Worked a treat for me, though I found spamming A / Y alternatively (equip, change view, unequip, change view etc) several times and ending when it was EQUIPPED, my mana bar filled higher. Doing that three times got my mana back to 100%. Back to ol' Faithful.

Cheers mate, it works for me.

The only things I'd like to point out is

1. to make things clear for anyone who later may encounter this glitch and will be desperate to solve it, the rotation of the solution should be (no matter what platform the player is on) : go to the inventory -> equip the greed trinket -> change view -> unequip it -> change view -> equip it -> exit inventory.

2. in my case after the first rotation is done, my mana doesn't replenish, but at least it changes from -10/56 to 0/56. What I then did was: open the inventory -> unequip the trinket -> exit the inventory. This time without the trinket equipped, my mana replenishes to arond 1/3 or the maximum.

3. repeat step 1 and 2, until your mana is full. and like someone else has mentioned above, remember never to equip this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trinket again!

Many thanks to the first guy who figured out this solution for this game-breaking glitch.
