This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, lag is terible and i dont know if i download 1.3 or not.. i dont remember

Steam automatically downloads the updates for you. It'll be on there.

1.3 made the game worse for me, not that I thought that was ever possible!!

Open the games root directory (steamfolder\steamapps\common\Lords Of The Fallen) and find a file named "build_info" without file ending. Open it using a text-editor (e.g. drag & drop it into notepad) and it will display a string. As of now, my version of the game tells me:
Build Info - P4: 37855, SVN: 43486M

So this should be the string you should see with the patch 1.3 installed.
