Start up, Black Screen, only sound.
I have been looking into this issue for some time and really would like to try this game out since I have heard mix reviews. I start the game and no visuals comes up, but I get audio and am able to move around the menu. I been hearing many issues about bugs and such for this game but this black screen issue seems to be very small issue only a few have. Some one mind giving me some suggestions or a hand?

This is a problem that I am still experiencing. I bought this several months ago and couldn't start it. I had hoped it would have been fixed by now but I still have been unable to play the game. It's the same problem Rubble is having: no video, only audio, and I can see the in game cursor but that's it. Please if anyone has any information please share.

Start with checking the driver version, try running it in fullscreen mode,
turn off Steam Overlay and Cloud.

Make sure your computer is using NVIDIA/AMD GPU when runing the game.
Some laptops switch to build in Intel GPU in power saving mode.
What GPU do you have?
Whad driver version?
347.52 or AMD Beta?

If fullscreen parameter fails, set the game to start in borderless window.
Have you installed Visual C++ and Direct X from games folder?

I'll come back to you later, when I'll have some more time.

By the way,
Patch 1.5 comes out next week.

Don't care. Can't run game and no real improvements that I could see. Developers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and I stopped caring about this game and its company. They won't see a dime from me ever until they learn to make games that actually work. :D

I also stopped caring about this forum and health thread since December. So many better games now. Its funny how just like the updates and patches that are slow and never on time for this game you comment of assistants took about 4 months since I asked. Also none of the other threads with my issue answered anything.

Just letting you know. Don't even bother to reply. I won't be coming back to this thread or this game pretty much ever. lol.

This is complete bulls hit. It's still happening in 2021. I think many of us are sick and tired of "helpful" people posting any, but usually long, intensive "fixes" for us to try, in the hopes that one possibly works. This is also complete bulls hit. I shouldn't have to fix any game I purchased. They should not need "fixing". And I sure as hell am not being paid to fix their game. You people offering fixes only support the system that approves and makes it seem acceptable that broken games are just the way it is, there's nothing we can do about it so we should learn to fix the broken games we buy. You are F U C K I N G insane and the shi tty system will only get worse until you demand reasonable service. I refuse to fix any game, however minor. REFUND. DO NOT SUPPORT. How is it that back in the day when they sold games on CDs and DVDs there was never any game breaking bugs. They paid (very little to nothing) for a team of testers that played the ♥♥♥♥ out of the games and made sure they couldn't be broken even if players tried. And they still managed to make ridiculous profits. Now they put out unfinished ♥♥♥♥ that's riddled with bugs, some game breaking, and expect customers to pay for testing guaranteed broken crap. We get to pay for broken, fraudulent shi t and waste our time by sending the devs our "bug reports". This is not our job! We paid for a game, not a job testing games. Thank you for your possible fixes, but you take them and shove them up the dev's arseholes.
