I couldn't find my save files at the above location, and I didn't even have a "remote" folder
While bumbling around my computer I found they were instead stored in a more obvious location;
C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Lords of the Fallen
The keybindings and graphical settings are stored here too
I tried replacing the save games using the files in the location miho mentioned, and it didn't work: In the game, my save games were still the newer version that I was trying to replace.
I had Steam cloud saves enabled, so maybe it just overwrote the saves when I launched the game. I'll try it again with cloud saves disabled.
Whether you use cloud saves or not, you have local saves. If you have cloud saves enabled, then the local saves are found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user_id>\265300\remote
If you don't have cloud saves enabled, then the local saves are found here:
C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Lords of the Fallen
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\LOTF
This thread is nearly nine years old
It's for the first Lords of the Fallen game, not the second
Still works like a charm tho
The directory address you posted says "LOTF2", and therefore isn't the save game location for LOTF (2014). which is the game forum you're posting in. So, you're the one giving bad advice.
