Savegame Location?
Does anyone know where the save folder for this game is? I thought it is in the "Lords of the Fallen" folder in Documents but in there the save folder is empty.

it was a misspaste and even so its the correct path whilst in 9 years no one else in the thread has got it right..
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\LOTF\Saved\SaveGames

No, it isn't a misspaste. It's the wrong address. You're spreading information which you haven't verified, and which isn't correct.

The address you posted is the save-game location for Lords of the Fallen 2023[www.gamepressure.com], and not for Lords of the Fallen 2014. There is no C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\LOTF directory for LotF 2014.

The forum and thread you're posting in is for Lords of the Fallen 2014, and not LotF 2023.

The people in this thread who have claimed the save game location for this LotF is the directory you've posted are probably people who found this thread through a Google search while looking for the save game location for LotF 2023, and didn't notice that this thread and forum are not about LotF 2023, but are about LotF 2014.

The correct save-game locations for this thread and forum's LotF are these:.

If you have cloud saves enabled, then the local saves are found here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user_id>\265300\remote

If you don't have cloud saves enabled, then the local saves are found here:

C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Lords of the Fallen

Here's a screenshot I just took of the save-game location for LotF 2014 with cloud-saves enabled:

So, the information you've posted is inapplicable for this game. And it could confuse people who search for the save-game location for this LotF.

Google brought me here, figured I'd post this to help people with the same issue

I couldn't find my save files at the above location, and I didn't even have a "remote" folder
While bumbling around my computer I found they were instead stored in a more obvious location;
C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Lords of the Fallen
The keybindings and graphical settings are stored here too

My Documents\Lords of the Fallen\save folder was empty, but I found some autosave files in the folder that miho mentioned.

If you have "cloud" saves turned off, then saves default to your Documents folder...

^ Good to know.

I tried replacing the save games using the files in the location miho mentioned, and it didn't work: In the game, my save games were still the newer version that I was trying to replace.

I had Steam cloud saves enabled, so maybe it just overwrote the saves when I launched the game. I'll try it again with cloud saves disabled.

Yep, cloud saves will automatically override any save you have locally unless you turn it off!

Is there any way to have both local and cloud saves? In the cloud, I have a few characters, and locally I have only one.

Whether you use cloud saves or not, you have local saves. If you have cloud saves enabled, then the local saves are found here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user_id>\265300\remote

If you don't have cloud saves enabled, then the local saves are found here:

C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Lords of the Fallen

This thread is nearly nine years old
It's for the first Lords of the Fallen game, not the second
