Exp multiplier limits at double?
I grinded around for a bit and noticec that my exp multiplier stops increacing at 2, I was a bit disapointed, but I guess it works within the game. Does anyone else have opinions on this limit at 2?

I personaly was hoping that it could be increaced forever making it a serious weight during boss fights, what do you guys think?

It would have been awesome if it did go beyond 2x...I found out about 9K of XP is where the mulitplier stops at 2x. In turn, I basically just keep 9K worth of XP unbanked as I run around. Might as well max out your XP earns with each beastie while you are running around, right? So far, heavies in close-quarter spaces and those elevated-mutant things are a pain until I get better at whooping them down.

2x gives you like 1900xp for each heavy shield guy, and a boss with 1x just gives around 10k ish, unlimited multiplier limit would just prevent me from going into the boss fit, making us grind endlessly, though i did save up to about 300k xp in prior to the champion boss finght in NG+

Im actually rather glad it doesnt go higher than 2...maybe 3 at max would be fine. Its already a good incentive to "keep going"...but there are plenty of times where I just reallly want to spend those points to make the game go quicker. Theres also the part I hate where as you get more xp ...the penalty for death becomes worse because of the % of xp drain.

I dont mind the minigame of getting more and more xp by being cautious...I just dont like being punished tripple for dying at that stage.

2x xp mod makes it much easier to swallow that pill and bank xp. It also makes sure you dont inadvertently spend more time managing the game outside its "fun" intent...like farming for an hour to get your xp multipliier back up to say...10x ...before a boss fight; slugging away at .01 per kill until you reach it.

In case you (or anyone else reading) didn't know. You get more for more difficult monsters. After resetting my counter I noticed 1 kill got me to 1.06x. I expect some give even better than that.

I know, you can get more for certain monsters, but it still stops at double exp.
