What class/build gives the most enjoyable gaming experience?
Topic says it all.

I'm not the kind of guy who will finish games several times, that's why I want to get the most possible fun out of this single playthrough.

So any tips on this one? I'm especially interested in opinions from people who tested at least two diffent classes/builds and who aren't in game just for 2 hours or so. But of course, anyone else should also feel free to post his class/build and personal degree of fun.

Please state the reason for your choice!

It depends on what kind of experience you want to have and how hard you want it to be.

As a warrior, you are really slow but really tanky, you can take a bunch of hits before you're in trouble and you can block almost anything with a big shield.

As a rogue on the other hand, you're pretty much dead after 3 hits from most enemies, but you can dodge and weave around very quickly to avoid damage.

in the end you can level up any starting class to be anything as you can spend your attributes wherever you want and you can wear whatever armor and weapon you want, so it won't matter that much in the end.

The way this game works is similar to Dark Souls, once you finish the game, you can start over with the same character in a new game called NG+. The enemies are stronger and you get new loot/better loot. One thing I do like is that once you restart the game with a new character, you get to add a class to it. Meaning in my NG+ I'm rocking my Cleric + Warrior.

Cleric = Highly sustainable, a great HOT spell (Heal over time) which saves my ass over and over. Great class that rewards you well for putting some attribute points in faith. 'Daze' slows all enemies in the area while you move at normal speed. By slow, I mean it looks like the timed as slowed down for them... really amazing at dealing with larger numbers.

Warrior = One of the best spells in the game (In my opinion) is in the warrior class and it's called 'Rage' it makes you deal more damage and gives you unlimited energy for the duration of the effect so you can just keep attacking and blocking. 'Ram' is great at knocking down those bigger guys which are otherwise difficult to take down.

Not played a rogue yet, so can't tell you much about it. All I can say is that it's not about the class really, it's about the gear you use... however, there are some class spells which have a natural synergy with some armour weight/weapon types.

I've started with rogue + green magic and the game was really challenging.
Now switched to Cleric + red magic and game got more forgiving. I like it now a bit more than before. (Love it anyway!)

In fact I do play a mix of warrior and rogue, wearing middle and light armor items and using the weapon I just want to use at this moment. First impression: Solid game, looks great, runs okay on my rig and serves a lot of fun while playing.

I've been having a blast in the heaviest armor I can find with a kite shield and a beastly greataxe.

It's forgiving and very powerful when you learn how to time your attacks to hit -just- before an enemy is about to hit you.

For my roleplay I fill better on warrior (heavy weapons and armor). But for a challenge I prefer roge (light armor and daggers or claws). I believe that last way will prefer most of hardcore players =)
So I play 2 characters and have fun playing both of them cuz 1-st one oneshots in melee and second one is fast as hell and can parry or stab enemies to the death

And I never use magic or magic glove (exept opening magic barriers) - more challenging fights 1 by 1 steel and blood :P

p.s. Best way to find one you like is to test them till you get to the second boss and clear all levels to find all of most types of enemies (takes ~20 min)

In the end it doesn´t matter because after completing the game you can restart new game + and pick a second class/third class, in the end you can use every possible skill :)

If you want to rarely die and not repeat sections, go with clerick, and level up the shelter spell as a priority.
