Black screen and then nothing?

The game loads up and then it just stays black and i can hear the sounds but the screen stays black, is there a fix for this???

Read other patch/performance posts. Everyone is going through the same thing. It's broken at the moment.

Do you play in Lords of the Fallen on PC/XBOX or PS4? I ask because I only starded play on LotF on my PC - 5 hours and game don't crashed me. To PS4 was 5GB patch so maybe on another platforms it comes out too.

I realize this is an older thread, but I just got this game and am getting a black screen when I start it. I've been searching for a fix, but nothing I've found so far works. I tried things like changing resolutions, deleting config files, running it as admin, validating the files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, forcing the executable to use my graphics card, etc. Every time I start the program, it's the same -- audio, but no video. I checked Windows firewall, and it's allowed on home networks, and I can't see anything in my my anti-virus software that's blocking it. I've searched Steam forums and the web in general, but can't seem to find a working fix. I can play plenty of other games just fine, including Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, so I seriously doubt my laptop's specs are the problem. Is this some general problem that needs patching from the Steam/developer side, or is there something I need to do on my system to fix it? If it's on my end, what can I do when nothing so far has worked? Help would be greatly appreciated. I bought this game because I played and finished the 2nd and liked it, so it's really disappointing to be greeted with a black screen in this game and no way to play it. Thanks!

Have you tried to force NVIDIA usage? You are on a laptop. I bet your current power shame is using an integrated video card.
