If its crashing with the "lordsofthefallen.exe has stopped working" pop up, go into the executables location and change the fullscreen setting in settings.ini to false. Sorry I cannot be more specific, my gaming pc is at home. This will allow you to start the game in windowed mode. Then once you are in game, go into the options menu and change the window settings to "borderless window". This will allow you to play fullscreen without problem. My rig is a basic AMD phenon 2 with an NVIDIA 760.

Now it crashes because of "lack of memory". 6GB of memory are available solely for the game. my rig has 8gb... 6gb swapfile as well

In your steam library > Right click on Lords of the fallen > click on Properties > Local Files > Browse... > Right click on the settings.ini > click on edit > change the line fullscreen = true to fullscreen = false > Save
Enjoy the game
