Strength vs Agility
Hey guys I'm split between using strength or agility weapons, is it viable to use both and spend point in both stats or should I be focusing on one?

if you want to roll faster i would go with agility.
strength deals more damage so i think you can level up both as far you need them.

Am stacking my points on strength and i hit like a truck. Even on bosses.

I started with Rogue and Agility and I regret it.
There is no way for fast weapons to break an opponent's guard and trust me, your gonna get alot of those later in the game.

Rogue = Hard Mode
Warrior = Easy Mode.

Good luck.

Actually rogue IS hardmode, I just posted a discussion explaining why (sort of).

Most of my points are going in agility and I am using Staves with Tower shields. Breaking enemy defense is not a problem either.

No its not. You should be doing cartwheels around the enemy/bosses if you know how to play as rogue.

Ok it may not be hardmode against all enemies and bosses, I did the first 3 without any sweat but with a rogue theres no way to break the guard and kill the bigger turtle enemies (those invulnerable to backstab).

So would it be a bad thinking putting points in both? I guess the shields have a strength requirement so I'd have to put point in strength at some point. I really want to find some dual swords has anyone found any hidden anywhere?
kickassez 29 OCT 2014 a las 2:58
just put points into agility until you think you're fast enough. rest should go to strength.

Strength weapons do more damage but fewer hits, agility do less damage per hit but hit way faster. I'm using strength weapons with fast roll.

You should also invest in some faith (12 min), some enemies later on can only be damaged by magic (I use the unupgraded gauntlet because I have base (8) faith and it takes forever, even with magic potions).

Oh really! that's good to know, I'm going to make either a strength build or a faith build.
Wonky 29 OCT 2014 a las 3:09
I think most faith weapons have a strength requirement, so putting some into strength now won't be a bad thing. I'll double check and edit this post.

Edit: I was completely wrong, faith weapons only have faith requirements.
