Multi-monitor / Nvidia Surround / Amd Eyefinity - support
Hi,

Well I'm pleased to annouced that for the most part this game has excellent Surround support. The only flaw is the in-game HUD is spanned, which is kinda annoying, but should be easily fixed! I want to thank the devs for the support, and hopefully they can fix the HUD.

Thanks again, and hopefully we can see a fix soon.

SIDE NOTE: Sli doesn't seem to scale that great. I have 2 x Titans and the 2nd card is often at 70-80%, so I'm losing a few frames - precious frames when you play at 5760x1080. Just something to look into.

cheers

Do you really think that they will be working on multi monitor and eyefinity support considering they struggle to fix fundamental technical issues for standard setups?

I will second support for this. HUD span and the terrible scaling on two HD7970's means single screen for me too.
Triple A should have this as a standard guys.

I actually use the Sleeping dogs flag for Nvidia, which gives me better scaling. It's still not perfect, but I play across 3 screens @ 50-60fps (vsync on).

You have a triple monitor setup then? I mean, obviously you have if you are commenting in a thread that is specifically catered for triple monitor users.

Yeah I knew that when you mentioned your cards - I just suggested Sleeping dogs, on the off chance that Amd have a similar profile that may give you better fps :)

Im surprised they didnt force srround as default..andt hen make you go itno the settings.ini to turn it off if you didnt have the setup for it or didnt like it.

That being said, hopefully down the road as everything hopefully gets worked on and fixed...they make sure to add real support for surround for the folks that want to use it.

Well its only the in-game hud that is the problem, everything else is flawless.

You say that...but by the looks of your 3rd picture ( the in game one ) ...they could do a lot to improve the frame of view. It looks horribly squished / cropped to me.

Actually the field of view is pretty good, with adequate camera distance. The picture isn't probably the best, as the camera angle is pointing down. BUT I always love a game, even in 3rd person view - that has a fov option. Not enough games have them, and on PC it's almost a must.

I concur on the FOV option too. But yes let's keep this on topic and civil so the devs hopefully see the thread and take note rather than bury detail with scoffs at needing to change ini files etc. I am sure they are well aware of all that criticism from the 100's of other threads.

Id' really love to see centered HUD. Would be way easier to play!

Btw, i also have the problem with a stretched playermodel in the Inventory ^^ looks funny.

You on Amd? Because I don't have that issue with Nvidia.
