As far as I know there is no such thing as classes. There is the skill tree - like you called it - or magic set that provides you with 4 spellst that stick with you throught the game and can't be changed. After that you pick an Armor. This armor is separated into Warrior, Cleric and Rogue Armor but its just after afterall not a class. You can change it anytime and it does not provide you with any special skills.

I'm gonna be a tanky warrior :) although the rogue class looks damn cool too...man only about a week left, I keep watching that 4 hour playthough that Lobos did and the game looks amazing.

Kinda determaned the "class" by the starting armor set. meaning Im gonna start with the warrior kit and rogue spells & strip down or mix and match on the heavy/light armor until I can find a good balence. Should have clarified. that 4 hour vid really gave me a direction about how I wanted to play on my first playthough.

Warriu armor/Warriu skill tree. No majicks, no dex, facetank bosses like a real man. Chop them slice them. crush them, dice them. To make Giantdad proud of this clone game.

The dual wield weapons look like the way to go DPS wise, but I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love the animation on the staff. Dat two-handed jumping attack.

I love staff, so, its how I will play this game... with staff

Greatsword/UGS (If there are any) and butt naked. DARK SOULS STYLE.

Maybe some light armor later on.

I watched footage of of all 3 classes and skill trees. I'm thinking I might try going for 2handed greatsword warrior with rogue tree for the mimic ability. Effectively doubling down on my beastly attacks.

Also considering dumping everything into the luck stat lol, just to see how different the loot drops are.

Nekkid ninja roll katana with resonant bl- oh wait.

You can basically two hand from the start. Your roll speed is determined by equipment burden. Like Dark Souls, just walk around naked so you can two hand a sword and fast roll.

Note: Fast rolls in this game are only about as fast as mid roll in Dark Souls.

Note: Weapon attack speed has nothing to do with equipment burden. Weapons have a set attack speed.

Note: Take all of that as you will.

Edit: Rogues are tough from the start. Maybe it will be different from the preview build, but the early damage for rogue types is so low, you might not be able to damage the first boss reasonably, while not having enough time to get off more than a single attack.

Going for the rogue, looks like the hardest class to play
