For the love of the gods, how do I cross the bridge to reach the fat chained monster?

So I'm trying to finish this quest from Yetka. First I activated the lever from a high point overlooking the fat monster. CHECK, DONE, TASK COMPLETED. Secondly, I activated the lever near the rotating tablets. CHECK, DONE, COMPLETED, FINISHED, LEVER PULLED.

For some reason there's a gap that stopped me from reaching the last lever in front of the monster. The platform, that I guess is supposed to raise itself, is still not raised. There's a lever in front of me, to the right side, where I'm standing facing the chained monster. I can't reach that lever.

I've been running in circles for 2 hours looking at guides but nothing seems right. What next?

Nevermind I found it. Atrocious level design, I must say. Takes the fun out of the game. Now it's back to completing the quest line.

I think I'm having the same problem here. I looked at a video guide and there's a platform you cross with a scroll on it. In my game, the platform is raised and I can't seem to get across it. The written guides are so confusing, I don't even know what "level" I'm at most of the time.

I'll try to help as far as I can remember.

Have you reached the switch at the top level overlooking the fat monster? Towards your right, you can see that there is another area, but you can't jump over the gap. There is another switch there.

I have no idea how to explain this but what I did was I continued exploring the area until I reached this hallway where in the middle, there is a big brick you can jump on to cross to the other side. I crossed that and continued exploring until I reached one of those heartless warriors (the one that keeps his heart in a jar). Near him, is a switch.

If this is too confusing, just explore all the area as much as you can until you see one of those "heartless" beast. Then you know you reached right place. Prepare to be nauseous though. I spent hours circling this level and kept missing that place.

I'm sorry if this isn't much of a help. I dont know how to explain it properly in English or any language lol. This level is too confusing.

For reference I haven't killed the Guardian yet and Yetka seems nowhere to be found since she was talking about some book and is supposed to teach me to translate the hieroglyphs. Some walkthroughs go through an area from the Arena (Chamber Entrance) that is beyond the Guardian. I'm thinking I need to go through there after defeating the Guardian.

You don't have to search for Yetka, she'll come to you herself some time later (warning minor spoiler after you freed the fat giant monster).

I found the problem. So I initially thought I was supposed to avoid the Guardian boss outright until I found "something" to disable his fireball attacks/make him weaker or whatever. I never found that unless you were simply just supposed to enter the arena from the rear then kill him. It was a tough fight but there's another entrance with an entire section of the Chamber(?) level that I needed to explore. My headache is cured now.

There is a way to weaken him, but only if you have saved the group of survivors in your previous visit to the rhogar realm. You can find them in one of the chambers and tell them to fight the boss. They will die but permanently lower the Guardian's HP.
