Wellcome to a souls-like game (look like your DS1 and DS2 experience did not teach you anything).
No, you are just doing something wrong over and over.
Wellcome to a souls-like game (again, look like your DS1 and DS2 experience did not teach you anything).
No, what you complain about happen when you run out of stamina yourself or you was so "on the limit of your weapon reach" that when you staggered the enemy it was threw backsward and you had to step forward to attack again, giving time for the enemy to recover.
Why use lock on?
My guess is you never played Dark Souls properly or at least not at PvP (and playing PvE without target lock only make things easier too), also if you leave combat range at Dark SOuls you also can not lock target (but the lock-on at Dark Souls have a wider range, yes, still, the "10% of the time" you mean makes me thing you want to lock-on from across the area/room, it dont work like that here and when you need it for combat it will allow you to lock on but, again, target lock better off than on at both the Souls series and at LotF).
No issue here, sorry, it is in your end.
No, and probably because you lock target at small/narrow corridors, it is a thing at Sekiro too if you go with target locked near walls (and at Dark Souls too if you never noticed, camera bounce here and there, but often narrow passages or corridors at Dark Souls are straight minimizing this issue).
No, you are just giving excuses.
No, you are useless with your rolls, git gud.
And, again, git gud, learn the game, step out of your safe spot and learn something new, it is no rocket science anyway ...
And again, it depend on weapon, poise and how enemy reacts ... that are enemies that react sort of the same at DS1 and DS3 too and at other souls-like games.
Not really needed when you have shortcuts everywhere . . . but yes, after being spoiled at DS3 I got spoiled by it, but still I did not miss this feature here, everything end up being very straight forward with eventual shortcuts.
And again, camera is only a problem if you are being the problem.
Your whole post was full clown status so, goes figure.
I would not put LotF above DS3 or DS1, but surely above DS2 anyday (I put literally ANYTHING above DS2 anyday, environment is crap on 90% of locations, combat is easy everywhere and 80% to 90% of bosses are just larger versions of normal enemies that deal much less damage than the normal enemies, lol), still, LotF is a shorter DS3 (without so much lore and other stuff) without PvP and worth on a sale.
HAHAHA I was breezing through this game, It's not hard in the least, just garbage.
Whatever you gotta say hot shot, I hate to break it to you but this is in the top 3 worst games I ever played. Ive mastered all the souls games, including the pvp. This game is beyond ♥♥♥♥ and it makes you sound like a fanboy for a game that isn't even 5% as good as dark souls. Saying anything souls related in the same sentence to this abomination is a joke. Keep telling yourself whatever you need to make you feel like your purchase and time with this was justifiable.
I did not say it is as good as DS3 or DS1 (tho I said it is better than DS2), but it is worth for some different content... and your complaints about camera and other stuff at LotF dont show how you ever mastered anythintg related to combat at any Dark Souls.
I enjoy CI Games, mainly for the sniper ghost warrior titles.. Played over 2,000+ hours on each game and 100% completionist all of them xD
Normal attacks are ridiculously slow and can't even break guards so sprinting and using heavy is by far the most effective combat tactic, sometimes with the follow up heavy.
I only spent 0.5usd on it though so can't complain
Hitboxes are fair once you learn and understand it.
