But in Dark Souls II enemies stop respawning after being killed 12 times. Maybe that would be something for you. And it's a brilliant game. I'm replaying it for the 18th time right now.
The perfect game (for me) would be something with the combat and RPG elements of Lords of the Fallen, but with a PERSISTENT world. Sort of like an Elder Scrolls game, but with reflex-based combat.
Anyway, thanks for the responses. I hate the respawns but I'll try to stick with it because otherwise I really like this game so far (just made it to the Worshipper boss).
The only boss I had any real trouble with was the Keeper from the Labyrinth DLC. Good grief that was a tedious fight. Really enjoyed the game overall, though!
