Is luck worth it?

Hey everyone

Just wanted to ask you guys if you would say that its worth it to skill on luck when you play a new charakter, and if it does how much would you prefer to skill?

The thing is i dont know if you really find that much better stuff so its worth to use a skillpoint for it, i know you have a higher chance to get skill shards then too but is it much more really?

not really, your main stat depending on what character you are playing and how for you are into the game is usually the better idea

No, it is generally a waste, since all you get is more small runes and some mana/energy/resistance shards. The difference is pretty noticeable (just try doing the first are on a warrior and a rogue, you will get much more stuff on the latter), but you probably won't be needing many of those anyway. You don't get more attribute or spell shards, since those are guaranteed loot in certain places of the game (I think you get a total of 8 attribute point shards throughout the game, excluding DLC).

Luck also supposedly increases the odds of getting higher tier runes from the blacksmith, but if you really want a specific rune from him you can just keep reloading the game until you get one.

You can also achieve the same effect by avoiding losing your XP bonus (by not dying, and using shift+R on checkpoints to keep the bonus at the cost of not refilling your flasks).
