Does anybody know what "concealable" weapons do?
Some of the guns are concealable and some aren't and I cant tell if it even effects the game.

i think there might be some missions in the actual game that let you holster your guns and pretend your a civilian, all enemies in the levels are just gonna shoot you

As stated in one of the in-game tips: the player character is more proficient in hand-to-hand combat when the weapon is holstered.

Which doesn't answer OP's question, non-concealable weapons can also be holstered

There is no way to answer that question because the game is not out, and the demo is a small snippet of the entire product. The only practical lead that can be deducted from playing the prologue, are mentioned bonuses applied to CQC encounters, that might be (if not are already) greater with concealable-class of smaller-lighter firearms compared to normal ones.

Everything else, like being able to walk past neutral NPCs like police without raising suspicion, or being able to smuggle weapons in other objects Hitman-style is only speculation.

Sure, but

That's also only a speculation on your part. Nothing in the game indicates that concealable weapons give you any hand to hand advantage, only that holstering weapons does, and you can holster non-concealable weapons.

The thing that you brought up is unrelated to OPs question and can cause confusion, that was my point

To some extent yes, that's why I said 'lead', but unlike hub areas with neutral police/FBI agents that can be sneaked past by, loads of stats affecting combat and movement are already here. and if I had to guess, in practice a 'concealable' tag on a weapon could enhance (in the full version of the game) bonuses applied when holstering, and add some perks like +25% speed of crawling through vents and vaulting.

It could play a role if the mechanics of changing clothes and using disguises were present, but without digging into dev logs- I don't think something like that is planned.

you can holster them, but you can't conceal them. your hands are free but the gun is visible.

???

I never said otherwise, I was just pointing out that the hand to hand bonus from holstering weapons that the other poster brought up has nothing to do with concealable weapons, because you can also holster non-concealable weapons and you deal the same melee damage when you use them.

As far as we know concealing weapons in this demo doesn't matter at all, since everyone is hostile on sight anyway, which is also why yet another person suggested that in the full game there might be some hitman-esque missions during which concealing weapons might allow you to blend in.

Why are we still talking about this :RuneScapeguy:

Thank you. I have no Idea how or why this turned into an argument but this paragraph does answer my question.
Edit: sorry for the format
