if it's not a port then what is it? it's a console game that was ported from consoles to pc

That doesn't mean it isn't just a port. There's obviously going to be different visual options and settings changes when ported to different hardware setups. That doesn't mean the game itself is any different and it's irrelevant to the question asked in the original post.
