No trail on follow mission 'Find Grandpa' and other follow missions

When you complete the chemical identification, it says to follow a trail but there is no trail. It is the same as on the mission where you need to identify the animal intruder, where again there is no chemical trail.

I encountered the same bug, try restrarting from checkpoint. Theoretically it should load the missing trail. I believe there was a similar bug in the first game as well.

I to am getting the same error. I have reloaded the checkpoint, along with restarting the mission. It appears to be a green cloud then disappears.

So I just tried this directly after posting. If you switch to the original suit ( I had on the the detective suit) and reload the checkpoint, it will work. I guess the bug is wearing a different suit other than the original

Ran into this bug just now. I was thinking i needed to do something else in game to make it appear but I youtube the mission on ps5 and it's supposed to show

I did get a trail, but it loaded as a solid grey cylinder, it was hilarious. What a terrible port

This is still broken. None of the "workarounds" do anything. Oh well, I've hit a brick wall and can't progress any further, guess I just have to take a break and play something else until they fix it.

Here's how the trail looks when you're in a spider-verse suit. I've seen some posts that suggests that it does appear correctly if you keep the default suit on.

I was also having issues here. You can follow the trail sound. That helped me complete without the actual trail.

Nope, I've kept the default suit on and the trail doesn't appear.
