Venom (Eddie) as protagonist for Spider-Man 3?

I don't know if it makes sense for the plot, as I haven't played the game, but it would make for more varied gameplay in the third one, besides the fact that it would attract players for being a popular character. Making the third game bigger instead of releasing a spin-off Venom game would be the best move.

No. It will be Peter and Miles again with Silk as a third new character to play as. Venom might be dead in this universe now.

Main villains will be Green Goblin, likely Hobgoblin and Carnage. Likely first half will be Norman as Green Goblin and he will die in some way and Harry will become Hobgoblin in the second half possibly teaming up with Carnage for the final fight, which would make sense with there being 3 protagonists now.

I wonder if they are gonna do a Gwen Stacy and have Goblin kill MJ.

From the hacks we can guess there will be a standalone Venom title coming up, but Spiderman 3 will be its own thing.
