They will never leave people who are different from the "norm" alone. Stay strong and keep fighting for your right to exist, even in digital spaces like this one.
You're not more intelligent than others because you yap about things that seem detailed on the surface but are simply advocations for regressions for marginalized demographics, all while skirting the line of what's reportable yourself with your veiled hateful rhetoric.
In other words, "I support 'Don't ask; don't tell.'"
This game has multiple lgbt references and at least 1 unskippable set of cutscenes where most other scenes in the rest of the game are skippable.
So, again it's not about woke. It's about being done giving money to companies pushing this stuff in a medium where need not be.
If I could still refund this game, I 100% would. Lesson learned.
Spider-Man 2 is less of a superhero adventure and more of a propaganda-filled lecture.
From Peter Parker’s bizarre anti-gun rants and cringe-inducing "compliment clubs" to the overwhelming presence of identity politics, the game feels more like an ideological statement than an actual attempt at entertainment. The writing is painfully bad—removing the agenda wouldn't save it, as it's filled with forced positivity, eliminating any real drama or tension.
Character design has taken a nosedive, and the game has an absurd focus on "representation" over engaging storytelling.
This isn't just a case of minor inclusivity—it's blatant, in-your-face propaganda, from pride flags to climate change puzzles, and even an abortion promotion side quest. The result? A game that alienates its audience while offering little in the way of meaningful gameplay or a compelling narrative.
Adding to the frustration, the PC version suffers from severe technical issues. Suffering from frequent crashes, performance drops, and graphical glitches—even on high-end hardware. The implementation of DirectStorage with GPU decompression has led to notable slowdowns, and stability problems persist despite multiple hotfixes. Instead of delivering a polished experience, the game feels rushed and poorly optimised.
Ultimately, Spider-Man 2 is a textbook example of what happens when activism overtakes artistry, now made even worse by its technical shortcomings. If you’re looking for a superhero experience that respects its characters and audience, this isn’t it.
It's about you using white supremacist rhetoric to label anything that depicts people who aren't straight, white males as propaganda.
